Join us for the 5th annual Ragged Mountain Scuttle to benefit One Community Many Voices. The course offers a variety of natural and man-made obstacles over a 5K course with plenty of elevation gain. Whether you’re racing as a team or an individual, we promise this will be an event you’ll be happy you signed up for. The majority of the 5K is on the Kuller trail, an intermediate level trail. The trail does has some steep pitches, and climbs 500 feet. The course will begin and end directly behind the snow bowl lodge.

ConvenientMD Urgent Care presents the 2nd Annual Run the Ridge Trail Race, hosted by Discover Downtown Westbrook and Sunset Ridge! This is a trail and mowed path course and should be bursting with autumn colors for this mid-October race. It’s a beautiful course with a few challenging spots. A great way to finish out a year of training! We have three races – 5K, 10K, and a “K9 5K” (run with your dog!).

Early bird registration is just $20 through the end of Labor Day weekend with discount code RTREARLY. After that, it will be the regular price of $25 until online registration ends on Thursday, October 18, 11:59pm. You can also register at packet pickup on Friday, October 19 and on race day for $30 (cash/check) or $31 (credit/debit).

You are guaranteed a free tech race shirt if you register by October 3. Sizes and shirts are not guaranteed after October 3.

This race serves as a fundraiser for Discover Downtown Westbrook, to support their mission of economic and community revitalization in downtown Westbrook.

Ghouls and Goblins will run amuck on All Hallows Eve. Take heed, for you never know what lurks in the deep of Pennessewassee. All those who dare, beware of the wicked weird and totally freaky you might happen to meet. So run fast but not too far for the end is near— The question here is quite clear….will you find a trick or treat this year?

Join the brave at heart on October 27, 2018 at the Norway Town office for the Fourth Annual Wicked Weird and Totally Freaky Trick or Treat Trot by the Lake 5k/10k. This all ages and abilities event is sure to be bigger and better and weirder than the last!

Registration starts at 8:00, the 10k will kick off at 9:00, 5k will kick off 9:15 and the Wicked Walk will start at 9:25am. Join us after the races for entertainment and prizes for the top 5k/10k racers.

In 1980 The Progress Center Incorporated and today serves over 400 children, families and adults who experience disabilities and employ more than 160 Mainers all across the state. Located in the picturesque hills of Oxford County, The Progress Center has a proud history of supporting those in need. In addition to adult and children’s services, The Progress Center started the Community Kitchen in 2008. Our food initiatives include Level Up (food delivered to homeless/ at-risk youth at our local high school), Feel Better Food (home meal delivery program for patients recovering from hospitalization), and Food Distribution (more than 170,000lbs of food given to the food insecure) and a soup kitchen that feeds more than 175 people every Thursday.

As a non-profit organization we rely on our funders, sponsors and supporters to continue our mission which is “to promote independence and freedom of choice for the individuals we serve”.
