– McDougal Orchards, 202 Hanson Ridge Road
(Park at McDougal’s, walk to Blueberry Bend, and then walk back the way you came to return to your vehicle: 9 miles)
Shuttle service is available and made possible by your generous donation. It is recommended that your group be prepared to wait at shuttle stops or plan ahead by dropping a car off in advance at Rivard Farm or Mousam Valley Mushrooms.
Bring a backpack, as each farm along the way sells their produce, meats, dairy, and/or prepared food. Most farms also provide their own unique, refreshing beverage! Lamb BBQ will be available for lunch purchases at Noon Family Sheep Farm from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
The Springvale Farm Walk is a one-day-only event – most of the Farm Walk traverses private property that is NOT available for recreation except for on this one day. Enjoy the walk, respect landowners, and pick up a Sanford Trails map at McDougal’s to find out where you can walk, bike, or ride in the future!
This event is held rain or shine – pack accordingly!
