Join your community + teacher Kelly Rich for a full moon practice with the intention of CONNECTION. We will breathe, feel, move and groove to the ever changing shifts happening within and without.
Please bring layers of clothing to put on and take off as the weather in the park is very different from even a half mile away.
Join us, and embark on our inaugural epic cycling adventure through the best terrain the St. John Valley has to offer. The FARM Ride will take you through northern Maine’s growing potato, buckwheat, and wheat fields with vistas into neighboring New Brunswick, Canada. Cue sheets (provided that morning) and/or a downloadable GPS route (check back for link) will guide you through undulating hard-packed dirt roads winding around fields and through wooden sections, offering you the best bike riding anywhere in the region. Climb ~6,000 feet in ~60 miles on a mountain bike, road bike with puncture resistant tires, cross bike or gravel grinder and ride amongst friends on a trip that will certainly be on your calendar year after year. A rest stop with nutrition/drink essentials, plus a mechanic garage will keep you and your bike going when you need it most. Celebrate your finish with a BBQ featuring our local Aroostook Beef Company burgers, a cold pint of our local First Mile Brewery beer and some acoustic guitar tunes by our local artist Travis Cyr.
