Join Midcoast Conservancy and Trail Monster Running for a fun, casual 6-week trail training series each Wednesday April 18 to May 23 at Hidden Valley Nature Center.
Each week, runners of all levels can start their run between 4:30 and 6pm. Volunteers from Midcoast Conservancy and Trail Monster will time everyone so that results can be compared week to week. We will have 3 and 6 mile courses marked. You’re encouraged to sign-up for all 6 weeks, but day-of registrations will be accepted.
$20 for members, $30 for non-members, $8 drop- in
Child care will be available for a fee of $5 per child.
Well behaved dogs that are under owner control at all times are welcome.

Please join us on Saturday May 19 at 1:00 for the first annual bike to the breweries event.
Bike to the breweries is a fun community event designed to give us an excuse to do three things we love ride bikes, drink beer and make new friends. Starting a 1 pm we will follow the Portland Beer Map route to several local breweries for the fun of it. The event is free to participate (you have to buy your own beer) but we will be accepting donations for World Bicycle Relief, a charity that mobilizes people in developing countries with access to education, healthcare and economic opportunity by providing them bicycles.
Don’t have a bike. Don’t worry The Portland Encyclepedia will be offering $10.00 bike rentals with all proceeds going to charity.
Staff members from Summer Feet Cycling we be on the ride to show the way and provide mechanical and logistical support. Please join us on May 19.

Part yoga, part goat snuggling, all smiles!
Enjoy Goat Yoga led by Ashley Flowers, at Smiling Hill Farm. Smiling Hill Farm currently has baby goats and mama goats that will be romping around in the pen with us during our yoga class. Bring a mat/towel or practice on the grass. All levels yoga class! Picture taking, lauging, and goat petting are all encouraged!
Each session will start with 15 min of goat snuggles, followed by an hour of yoga, completed with another 15 minutes of goat holding and snuggling! Arrive a few minutes early and check out the barnyard before class. Save a few minutes after class to get some ice cream made from Smiling Hill cow dairy!
