>Historic Workouts is working with the Town of Kennebunk this year for beach classes! Pilates Strength and Core will take place every Friday morning at Kennebunk Beach (Gooches Beach by the Seaside Inn) in Kennebunk, Maine at 8:30AM from May 25 through September 7 (4 sessions).

This 60-minute awesome beach workout is designed for all fitness levels that begins with a proper warm-up followed by an energetic and intense mat-based, Pilates inspired, strength training workout using your own body weight and finishing with stretch and flexibility. Moreover, this dynamic total body workout challenges you by working more than one muscle group at a time all while transitioning from one exercise to the next, without a lot of rest in between, testing your strength, endurance, core, and more. If you’re looking for a workout that will help increase muscle strength, develop a stronger core, reduce body fat, ease low back pain, improve flexibility and balance, as well as to help support mental well-being, then this class is for you. With this equipment-free workout all you need to bring is sunscreen, plenty of water, and a yoga mat or towel. Welcome to Donut Worry Be Happy Yoga & Bootcamp Summer Series. This family-friendly series encourages participants to move, laugh, and yes indulge in a delicious Holy Donut.

Thryve Fitness will lead you through a yoga or bootcamp class each Sunday in July at Bug Light Park in South Portland. At the conclusion of each class, you are encouraged to hang out, laugh with new friends, and share in your favorite Holy Donut flavor.

This event is for all levels and all ages. While it is for all ages we do encourage your youngest to be at least 5 years old. But we are always willing to make exceptions. So feel free to reach out to us at info@youthryve.com to ensure we can THRYVE will your entire family.

Prices include class and donut. Make sure you indicate on your registration form if you have any specific food allergies or diet restrictions. (Gluten Free or Vegan) We want to ensure you have the Holy Donut that best matches your inner foodie.

How does a weekend with your pals spent throwing axes, foraging for cocktails, playing barn games & cruising the Maine coast sound? Yeah, that’s what we thought. We have an epic weekend planned for our 2nd annual Adult Summer Camp weekend and hope you and your pals can join us. Let’s just break down the itinerary for you and we’ll see how fast you can herd that group of friends you have together and claim your spots!

Friday Night — We are putting together a ridonkulas welcome cornucopia at the campsites…a cured meats/local cheese/dippy-things bonanza and of course accompanied by adult beverages. Camp fires, s’mores & perhaps a ghost story or two will cap the evening off. (cue starry skies, the smell of pine and deliciously comfy bedding).

Saturday — Kick the day off with an open fire breakfast, enjoyed family style in the middle of the woods with cider mimosas, and make plans for the day. Yoga in the yurt? Hiking? Naps? Or yes, all three. Take the day to explore this special area in Maine’s mid-coast — we can hook you up with suggestions and optional custom services for the day! Just ask.

Saturday Night — Put on your walkin’ shoes. We’ll be moving through the different magical spots at Tops’l Farm for a progressive and locally sourced meal — starting at the barn with lawn games & cocktails — finishing at the campground for desert and more good times.

Sunday — Bloody Marys at the barn on your way out with optional archery school to cap off the weekend.

Cost: $499/person for a shared cabin — includes breakfasts & dinners and accommodations. Some activities included – others are a la cart.
