Beginner Tap Dancing Class @ Portland Adult Education

Haven’t you always wanted to learn how to tap dance? Or maybe you danced as a kid and have been yearning to pick it up again? Now is your chance!

Beginner tap dance classes start with simple exercises and work up to short sequences using what you have learned. Classes are aimed at total beginners or dancers who want to brush up on their technique and are designed to be repeated.

Tap shoes are not required! Any smooth or leather-soled shoes are fine to start. I also have a few loaner pairs.

Location: Portland Adult Education Building, 14 Locust St. Portland, ME, Room 11 (upstairs)
The entrance for the parking lot is on Cumberland Ave. right next to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (near the intersection of Cumberland and Boyd).
The entrance to the PAE building is from the parking lot/Cathedral side. Parking is usually available in the lot unless there is an event at the church.

Cost: $12/class or $72 if you pay for the whole session

2020 Winter Session #1: 1/4, 1/11, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8, 2/29, 3/7. $72 for 7 weeks.
