Bike Swap @ Rainbow Bicycle
Apr 4 @ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Bike Swap @ Rainbow Bicycle

Bring a table and set up shop if you want to sell parts, or leave your bike with us to sell it for you. Or just stop by to shop around! If you are selling bikes, be sure to come back at the end of the day to collect your earnings.

Bikes:
Leave your bike and we will sell it for you. There are two ways you can collect your earnings:

Option 1: Cash. Rainbow keeps 20% of the sale price and you get 80%.
Option 2: Rainbow Store Credit. You get 100% of the sale price. Credit cannot be redeemed for cash.
We may also make our own in-store credit offer for your bike, so that if it goes unsold, you may still sell it to Rainbow Bikes.
Parts:

Table fee: $10. You get to keep 100% of sale price.
Rainbow will not sell parts for you, and Rainbow will not buy used parts, but you are welcome to sell or trade parts at the swap. Just be sure to keep an eye on your table–Rainbow Bikes is not responsible for any lost or stolen parts.

The FARM Ride-Maine's Premier Gravel Grinder @ New Canada Community Center

Join Fresh Trails Adventures, and embark on our second annual gravel cycling adventure through the best terrain the state of Maine has to offer. The FARM Ride will take you on hilly and meandering paved, and gravel roads through northern Maine’s newly planted potato and wheat fields, with vistas into neighboring New Brunswick, Canada. Ride among old and new friends on a road bike with puncture resistant tires, cross bike or gravel grinder (recommended). A downloadable GPX file for your GPS will help you navigate (check back in June @ www.freshtrails.com). The FARM Ride is not for the faint of heart; climb nearly 1,000 feet for every 10 miles ridden, for a total of 60 miles. It is sure to test your physical and mental prowess. A mid-route fuel station will keep you going when you need it the most. Celebrate your finish with a post-ride BBQ featuring our local Aroostook Beef Company burgers, a cold pint of craft beer from First Mile Brewery, buckwheat ployes and ice cream sandwiches from Bouchard Family Farm, and tunes from local musicians.
