Donations for Class Support Farm’s No Cull Philosophy. Suggestion donation $10.-$15. per person

Classes designed for teens and adults, but if you have a little one who can sit on a mat for an hour, feel free to bring them. There will no supervision elsewhere on the farm during class.

All classes are one hour, all level vinyasa classes in the field next to our goat pasture and end with goat snuggles and cheese tasting. Proceeds are split between instructor and farm. And… since the self-serve fridge is open Fri-Sun, people who attend yoga get early dibs on all the weekends treats! Hope to see you all back again this summer and to meet many new folks in the field as well. There is limited parking, and usually a turn out of 50-80 people, so try to carpool and pull all the way in to park behind the barn. Bring your mat and some water and get ready to enjoy a sweet outdoor class! Please note: Herd dynamics change throughout the season, so some weeks classes are next to the goats with baby snuggling after class, other weeks we will practice with goats in and amongst the mats! I try to decide based on what will make the goats most happy and quiet for our hour of yoga! The majority of the goat kids are at the farm for the June classes.

National Trails Day 10-Mile Hike @ Starts at at Blueberry Rd. on the Stroudwater Trail

Celebrate National Trails Day on our annual 10-mile Forest City Trail hike, guided by co-founder Tom Jewell, City of Portland Parks and Recreation Director Ethan Hipple and Portland Trails Executive Director Kara Wooldrik. Explore hidden gems throughout Portland on a cross-city urban hike from the Stroudwater River to the Presumpscot River.

We’ll start early on Saturday at Blueberry Rd. on the Stroudwater Trail and hike the entire Forest City trail across town, hitting the Fore River Sanctuary, Evergreen Cemetery, and lots of neighborhood trails. We end at the Presumpscot River and the beautiful falls. Grab your hiking boots, pack your lunch, and get ready to see Portland as you’ve never before!

$20 per participant. Registration is required.

We have a cap on the number of participants for this hike. So, please register early! Please plan on joining us for the entire hike. No dogs, strollers, or bikes. Thanks!

Kick off your summer with friends, food, the great Maine outdoors and – best of all – the knowledge that you’re helping Maine kids and adults with disabilities attend a summer camp that means the world to them. Get ready for the Bath Savings Institution Paddle for Pine Tree Camp!

What: A two-hour paddle down the beautiful Kennebec River, concluding with a celebratory barbecue. This event is family-friendly and perfect for all ages, skill levels and abilities.

When: Saturday, June 1, 2019 (check-in opens at 8:00 a.m. and the paddle starts at 9:30 a.m.)

Where: The adventure starts at The Evergreens Campground in Solon and ends in North Anson. Want to reserve a campsite for the weekend? Call The Evergreens Campground at 207-643-2324.

Why: Proceeds from the Paddle go directly to Pine Tree Camp’s Campership Fund ensuring that all who can benefit from the camp experience are able to attend. With more than 99% of campers receiving full or partial tuition assistance, your support will make a tremendous impact. All paddlers are asked to raise a minimum of $100 for Pine Tree Camp.

Enjoy Goat Yoga led by Ashley Flowers, at Smiling Hill Farm. Smiling Hill Farm currently has baby goats and mama goats that will be romping around in the pen with us during our yoga class. Bring a mat/towel or practice on the grass. All levels yoga class! Picture taking, laughing, and goat petting are all encouraged!

Each session will start with 15 min of goat snuggles, followed by an hour of yoga, completed with another 15 minutes of goat holding and snuggling! Arrive a few minutes early and check out the barnyard before class. Save time after class to get some ice cream made from Smiling Hill cow dairy!

Enjoy Goat Yoga led by Ashley Flowers, at Smiling Hill Farm. Smiling Hill Farm currently has baby goats and mama goats that will be romping around in the pen with us during our yoga class. Bring a mat/towel or practice on the grass. All levels yoga class! Picture taking, laughing, and goat petting are all encouraged!

Each session will start with 15 min of goat snuggles, followed by an hour of yoga, completed with another 15 minutes of goat holding and snuggling! Arrive a few minutes early and check out the barnyard before class. Save time after class to get some ice cream made from Smiling Hill cow dairy!

Classes designed for teens and adults, but if you have a little one who can sit on a mat for an hour, feel free to bring them. There will no supervision elsewhere on the farm during class.

All classes are one hour, all level vinyasa classes in the field next to our goat pasture and end with goat snuggles and cheese tasting. Proceeds are split between instructor and farm. And… since the self-serve fridge is open Fri-Sun, people who attend yoga get early dibs on all the weekends treats! Hope to see you all back again this summer and to meet many new folks in the field as well. There is limited parking, and usually a turn out of 50-80 people, so try to carpool and pull all the way in to park behind the barn. Bring your mat and some water and get ready to enjoy a sweet outdoor class! Please note: Herd dynamics change throughout the season, so some weeks classes are next to the goats with baby snuggling after class, other weeks we will practice with goats in and amongst the mats! I try to decide based on what will make the goats most happy and quiet for our hour of yoga! The majority of the goat kids are at the farm for the June classes.

We will be doing a 1 hr outdoor high intensity interval training class, including warm up and cool down/stretch. All with the backdrop of beautiful Casco Bay at Fort Williams Park.
Classes will involve bodyweight movements, some weights (kettle bells) and/or resistance bands, running/sprinting and movements to increase balance and agility.
There will always be modifications for each exercise, all ability levels are welcomed and encouraged.

There is something for everyone. We are really excited to bring this Stage Race to the region. As an athlete you can go “all in” or pick and choose the events that appeal to you. We hope we have created something for everyone and that a ton of the riding community come out to support the growth of the trails in the region. THIS EVENT IS A FUNDRAISER TO BUILD MORE AND BETTER TRAILS IN THE REGION. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.

Stage 1: We’ve gone back to our roots a little bit with Stage 1. With so few traditional XCO style races left we are bringing back a little taste of old school mtb racing. Take it serious, or not at all, it’s completely up to you and a great way to spend some time on your bike, riding a great course, and supporting trail growth. The course is a fun mix of climbs, rock gardens, and fast flowing descents, and some more climbs.

Stage 2:This is a Mountain Bike time trial. The course will be 4-5 miles long and will be a different variation from any of the other stages. You will be racing against the clock and at the end of the day there are no categories, no brackets, and no extra podiums. You are mostly racing for points in the stage race. There will be 3 men and 3 women on the podium. If you are competing in the overall stage race your finish place will be the number of points for your total standing. The stage will start 90 minutes after Stage 1 ends with riders leaving at 30 second intervals. We will start riders based upon previous results and/or your entry category in other stages.

Stage 3: The Fun-duro is back better than ever!. There will be a minimum of 5 timed segments. All segments will be descents(mostly). Each segment will be timed and the cumulative time for each segment will determine the winners. We will recognize the fastest times for each segment during the awards. Between segments you can take your time getting to the next segment; catch your breath, have a drink, eat some food as there is no real rush. The “transition” as it’s known in big Enduro races will be a time to make sure you are rested and ready to start the next section(within reason of course, we don’t want people stopping for a picnic between segments).
