We all need time to chill the heck out (put down the phones, step away from the computer, and just breeeeeaaaaathe). Usually we grab our downtime wherever we can get it – a half-hour with a book before bed, a glass of wine on a Sunday evening, seven minutes with our eyes closed waiting for the Casco Bay Bridge to come down. But these Maine (or close to Maine) retreats will give you multiple days of de-stressing glory. Most include yoga – some also include paddleboarding, meditation, hiking, s’mores, bonfires, sailing, and archery!

I feel more chill already.

This isn’t a “retreat” in the traditional sense. There’s no yoga or meditation on the agenda (although you’re welcome to bust out some downward dog or take time to meditate if you’d like). But I had to include this event because it sounds like so much dang fun. The weekend includes throwing axes, foraging for cocktails, playing barn games, s’mores and stories by the fire, naps, bloody Marys and archery. Retreat or not, it sounds like a really cool getaway.
