Peaks to Portland Swim to Benefit Kids 2018 – YMCA of Southern Maine

The annual Peaks to Portland swim is a 2.4-mile open water swim from Peaks Island to East End Beach in Portland. Every year, hundreds of swimmers take to the water to accomplish this impressive feat and raise much-needed funds for the YMCA of Southern Maine. The money raised supports the Y’s programs, including learn-to-swim programs for kids, day camps, daycare, and so much more.

I don't like "exercise" any more than you do. But you know what I do like? Paddleboarding with friends all afternoon, followed by shandys on the beach. I like bike rides with pit stops for nachos, yoga classes held in breweries, group paddles to Fort Gorges, and winter hikes with spiked hot apple cider. I think you get the picture. Because Maine is my gym.
