Hundreds of runners and walkers turned out for last night’s Twilight 5K in South Portland to benefit the Maine Cancer Foundation. There were high fives and team enthusiasm along the scenic course, which started at Southern Maine Community College and wound around Bug Light Park.

I don't like "exercise" any more than you do. But you know what I do like? Paddleboarding with friends all afternoon, followed by shandys on the beach. I like bike rides with pit stops for nachos, yoga classes held in breweries, group paddles to Fort Gorges, and winter hikes with spiked hot apple cider. I think you get the picture. Because Maine is my gym.
